The conference is scheduled for November 9-12 in Waco, Texas.
About George Lavender
Born and raised in Texarkana, Texas, George Lavender is a graduate of Arkansas High School and holds a BSBA in Management from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. He served as a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015, representing District 1. During his tenure, he was a member of key committees including Homeland Security & Public Safety and Transportation. In the private sector, George has been a small businessman for over 30 years. He is a partner with Ellco Distributing and works in commercial real estate. Beyond business, George has been a Volunteer Youth Coach for 20 years and served as a Board member of the Boys & Girls Club. He is also a long-time supporter of the First Choice Pregnancy Center and Watersprings Ranch. George is a strong advocate for 2nd Amendment rights and has received an “A” rating from both the Texas State Rifle Association and the National Rifle Association. He is a pro-life, pro-traditional family Republican who supports the right of churches to operate without overreaching governmental regulation.
