The time to act is now, as two essential election integrity bills, crucial to the TEXIT movement, need our immediate support to pass through committee and restore confidence in the Texas election process.

The Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) and TEXIT supporters should give their full attention to two bills aimed at addressing election integrity in Texas: HB 5234, filed by Representative Steve Toth, and SB 2464, introduced by Senator Bob Hall. These bills focus on crucial aspects of the election process that are of significant importance to the TNM and TEXIT supporters, ensuring a fair vote when it comes time to decide on Texas independence.

HB 5234, known as the Election Accuracy, Transparency, and Accountability Act, intends to put elections back into the hands of the citizens, taking control away from corporations that currently oversee all aspects of the election process. This bill places strong safeguards to guarantee accuracy, transparency, and accountability in elections, addressing major concerns such as voting machines and election system vendors. Key components of HB 5234 include secure hand-marked paper ballots, paper poll books, strong chain of custody measures, precinct-only voting, and hand-counted ballots, among others.

On the other hand, SB 2464, introduced by Senator Bob Hall, focuses on restoring voter faith in the integrity of the election process by providing full transparency and verification of vote count accuracy. The proposed legislation includes secure hand-marked paper ballots, paper poll books, precinct voting, comparison of precinct returns with the corresponding tally list, and transparent verification of vote totals.

Both bills are of paramount importance to the TNM and TEXIT supporters, as election integrity is crucial for the eventual TEXIT vote. By ensuring a transparent and fair election process, Texans can be confident that their voices are truly heard and respected.
