Lyndon Laird, esteemed attorney and upcoming candidate for Texas State Representative for the 58th district, is proudly endorsing the TEXAS FIRST pledge, demonstrating his commitment to the interests of Texas and its citizens.

Born and bred in Johnson County, Laird’s resilience and dedication have been evident since his days at Baylor University and Baylor Law School. As a Board Certified attorney, he has successfully navigated complex legal challenges on behalf of clients across Texas, with an unwavering focus on justice and the rule of law. Now, Laird is ready to bring that same dogged determination to bear in representing the 58th district.

A strong proponent of Texas’ rights and independence, Laird’s pledge gears towards the principles set forth in Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution. The attorney pledges to defend Texans’ right to “alter, reform or abolish their government” and vote for legislation and resolutions that propound Texas as an independent nation, promising to work toward the fair and prompt separation of Texas from federal governance, should a majority of Texans support such a move.

True to his Republican ties, Laird remains committed to prosperity, self-governance, and putting Texas first. He is no stranger to political campaigns, having previously run for the State Representative office in 2014. Although unsuccessful then, his passion and tenacity have not waned but rather gained momentum.

Laird’s dedication to the TEXAS FIRST pledge and his commitment to serve his home district unveil a candidate who is willing to put the interests of Texas above all else.

As Texans prepare to vote, let’s remember that Lyndon Laird stands firmly behind our state’s rights, pledging to make Texas’ interests paramount under his representation.
