Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event drew a mix of committed TEXIT supporters and first-time attendees eager to learn more about the steps Texas can take to become an independent nation. The seminar, led by TNM President Daniel Miller, offered a comprehensive roadmap for how Texans can reclaim their state’s sovereignty.

Local Leaders Set the Tone

The seminar began with opening remarks from State Republican Executive Committee members Daniel Hunt and Rhonda Ward from Senate District 3, setting an energetic tone for the day. Their participation highlighted the growing interest in Texas independence across East Texas.

The event’s organization by TNM – Angelina County played a crucial role in ensuring the day’s success, reflecting the dedication of local TNM leaders to advancing the cause of Texas sovereignty.

Newcomers Learn About TEXIT

For many attendees, this was their first exposure to the Texas Nationalist Movement. The TEXIT Blueprint seminar provided them with a clear, actionable plan for how Texas can pursue independence through the legislative process, community engagement, and post-referendum preparations.

Several notable figures from the local political scene attended, including Angelina County GOP Chair Michael McCracken and former Texas House District 9 candidate and Texas First Pledge signer Paulette Carson. Their presence underscored the growing reach of the TEXIT movement within the region.

The Path to Texas Independence

Daniel Miller’s presentation broke down the TEXIT process into four critical stages: Building Capacity, Securing the Vote, Winning the Vote, and Preparing for Independence. Each stage was explained in detail, offering attendees a clear vision of how Texas can achieve independence step by step.

The first stage, Building Capacity, focused on expanding TNM’s influence across the state by engaging with local communities and growing grassroots support. Attendees were encouraged to take an active role in spreading the message and building awareness.

Next, Securing the Vote outlined the legislative actions required to bring a TEXIT referendum to the people of Texas. Miller explained the importance of participation in the political process to ensure that lawmakers reflect the desire for a vote on independence.

In the third stage, Winning the Vote, the focus shifted to voter mobilization and the strategies necessary to ensure a strong turnout in favor of TEXIT. Practical steps for engaging voters and driving support were a key part of the discussion.

The final stage, Preparing for Independence, laid out the legal, economic, and governance structures Texas will need to adopt once independence is achieved. This stage covered everything from trade negotiations to establishing a state currency, helping attendees visualize a smooth transition to sovereignty.

TNM Leadership Drives the Message

Key TNM leaders, including Executive Vice President Nate Smith, Vice President of Operations Cara Miller, and Director of Membership Regina Ross, attended the seminar. Their participation reflected TNM’s commitment to local engagement as they interacted with attendees and answered questions throughout the day.

Building Momentum for Texas Independence

By the end of the seminar, attendees left with a renewed sense of purpose and direction. Those attending for the first time gained a deeper understanding of the TEXIT movement, while long-time supporters felt invigorated by the clear steps outlined for Texas to achieve independence.

The TEXIT Blueprint seminar in Lufkin marked another milestone in the growing momentum behind Texas independence. As more Texans join the conversation, the vision of a free and independent Texas becomes clearer.
