Texians in Lewisville had a unique opportunity this past weekend to engage directly with the Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) and learn more about the vision for an independent Texas. Hosted at the local Farmer’s Market on September 27 and 28, the TNM booth served as a focal point for conversations about Texas sovereignty, TEXIT, and the future of the Lone Star State.
TEXIT in Action
With a steady flow of foot traffic and an energized team of volunteers, the TNM outreach event in Lewisville successfully engaged approximately 2,000 pedestrians over two days. Volunteers connected with 500 voters, and over 131 individuals signed up in support of TEXIT. Informational materials were distributed widely, with many using QR codes to access more details about Texas independence.
“Texans are increasingly looking for solutions that put Texas first,” said Daniel Miller, President of the Texas Nationalist Movement. “We’ve seen growing support for independence at every event. This is a sign that Texans are ready to take control of their own destiny.”
Growing Support for Texas Independence
The Lewisville Farmer’s Market provided the perfect environment for meaningful discussions on self-governance and the future of Texas. Attendees voiced concerns about federal overreach, rising federal debt, and policies that continue to undermine Texas’ economic and political interests. The TNM booth offered a space for dialogue and exploration of how an independent Texas could better address these issues.
The volunteers, led by Local Coordinator Timothy Curtiss, were instrumental in educating the public and inspiring new supporters. The team, composed of seven dedicated volunteers, engaged attendees in conversations about the benefits of TEXIT, handing out literature and sharing digital resources for further engagement.
A Local Event with Statewide Impact
While this was a local event, the impact reached far beyond Lewisville. As Miller emphasized, every interaction moves Texas closer to realizing independence. TNM’s grassroots efforts are key to ensuring that every Texian has the opportunity to hear the message of TEXIT. The Lewisville event was just one example of how TNM is connecting with communities across the state, rallying support for a self-governed, independent Texas.
As TNM continues to build momentum, future events will carry this message to even more Texans, encouraging them to envision a future where Texas once again stands as a sovereign nation.
