Time-Sensitive: Rally Behind HJR146 to Strengthen Texas’ Financial Freedom & Independence!

The Texas Nationalist Movement and TEXIT supporters have a crucial opportunity to take a significant step towards Texas independence by rallying behind HJR146.

In recent years, the dangers of federal overreach related to currency have become increasingly apparent. The United States government has been pushing for implementing a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), which could pose significant threats to the financial independence and economic autonomy of individual states, particularly Texas.

A CBDC would further centralize control of the federal currency, undermining the economic sovereignty of states like Texas. It could allow the federal government to exert undue influence over the financial affairs of individuals and businesses, leading to privacy concerns, the possibility of government surveillance, and restricted economic freedoms.

This bill is vital to the TNM’s mission, as it seeks to amend the Texas Bill of Rights to protect the financial autonomy of Texans. By doing so, it paves the way for a self-governing independent nation and strengthens our ability to resist federal overreach in financial matters.

HJR146 proposes the following changes to the Texas Bill of Rights:

“The right of the people to own, hold, and use a mutually agreed upon medium of exchange, including cash, coin, bullion, digital currency, or privately issued script, when trading and contracting for goods and services shall not be infringed. No government shall prohibit or encumber the ownership or holding of any form or amount of money or other currency.”

This bill is essential for the TNM and TEXIT supporters because it guarantees the people of Texas the right to decide on their preferred medium of exchange. By doing so, it promotes economic self-determination, which is a cornerstone of the movement for Texas independence. Furthermore, the bill safeguards Texans from potential federal government attempts to control or manipulate the state’s monetary system, ensuring that our financial future remains in our hands.

CALL TO ACTION

HJR146 is scheduled for a committee hearing on Wednesday, April 19th, by the Pension, Investment, and Financial Services Committee. If you want to testify in favor of this bill, you need to arrive at the Capitol by 8:00 am and register on the kiosk outside the committee room.

For those unable to make it to the Capitol, you can submit your public support at this site: https://comments.house.texas.gov/home?c=c395

Fill out the form, and under “Organization/Representing,” type “self.” Scroll to the bottom of the page to HJR146 and press the “Select” button. Type the following: “I support this bill. I am asking the members of the committee to pass this bill out of the committee.”

By supporting HJR146, we can take a critical step in the journey towards Texas independence, securing our financial freedom and autonomy. The time is now to stand together and fight for our right to determine our own economic destiny.
