The Texas Nationalist Movement hosted a “The TEXIT Blueprint” seminar on July 27th at the historic Texan Theatre in Greenville, Texas. This day-long event provided an in-depth exploration of Texas’ journey toward independence and attracted a diverse crowd, including a German documentary crew interested in capturing the movement’s momentum.
Event Highlights
The seminar kicked off with an introduction by incoming State Representative Brent Money, who provided a detailed review of the book TEXIT: Why and How Texas Will Leave The Union. His presentation set the stage for a comprehensive discussion on the stages of the TEXIT process.
In-Depth Exploration of TEXIT
The seminar was divided into five segments, each addressing critical components of the TEXIT process:
- Understanding TEXIT and the Vision for Post-TEXIT Texas: Clarified the motivations behind TEXIT and presented a vision for an independent Texas.
- Building Capacity: Focused on strategies to mobilize grassroots support.
- Getting a TEXIT Vote: Outlined the steps necessary to secure a referendum.
- Winning a TEXIT Vote: Discussed strategies for voter engagement and addressing opposition.
- Securing TEXIT: Covered post-vote economic planning, national security, and international relations.
The event also featured a screening of a Brexit-related movie, drawing parallels between the UK’s exit from the EU and Texas’ path to independence.
Expanding the Blueprint
Following the success of this seminar, TNM plans to bring “The TEXIT Blueprint” to other cities across Texas, ensuring more Texans are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to contribute to the movement effectively.
